I would like to look slimmer

You at your best

Sagging facial tissue and loss of structure doesn’t just create unwanted facial folds, but they also cause a softening via resorbtion of our bone structure. This falling skin and soft tissue causes our face shape and structure to become softer and rounder, the excess tissue collecting around our lower face. We treat this loss of facial prominence with a method that may seem counter-intuitive, but that actually works incredibly well. By using dermal filler to lift fallen or sunken areas, we add structure to sagging skin that is otherwise rounding unnecessarily plumping areas of the face. By altering proportions and the surface of areas for light dispersion, we can successfully slim the face and introduce a youthful structure at the same time.

Successful slimming of areas of the face that have been affected by loss of volume, structure, and dimension with professional treatment by Professor Jeffry Kashuk. By assessing your unique anatomy, evaluating your areas of concern, and adapting treatment to best suit your attributes, we will devise a personalised treatment plan tailored specifically for you.

Each and every patient we encounter has their own unique facial structure which contributes to their personal appearance. By targeting your unique attributes, we can individually perform facial rejuvenation which is particularly suited to you.

How we achieve this

EYE AREA

Using dermal fillers, we can successfully lift the skin around the eyes and the tear troughs to eliminate the pulled-down effect that causes our face to appear rounded. By filling this loose skin, we lift it back up to create structure and firmness in areas that are otherwise causing us to seem plumper. Treating this area lifts any sagging tissue that may be hindering the eye’s natural shape, helping them to appear more open and bright.

CHEEKS

The cheeks are dense areas of facial tissue so when their structure diminishes, they fall and sag to create a fleshy appearance. This can result in the development of nose-to-mouth lines, under-eye bags, and jowls. By treating the loss of volume in this area to fill and lift, we successfully rejuvenate the mid-face to create a fuller yet overall slimmer facial composition.

TEMPLES

It may seem counter-intuitive to inject dermal filler into the temples to create a slimmer appearance, but we assure you it does work. Injecting at this strategic point lifts loose skin that has fallen to create folds and collected tissue. This allows us to reintroduce contouring to a facial profile that was lost with the rounding or resorption of our bone structure.

JAW AND JOWLS

When skin loses its laxity, it falls to the basin of jaw, collecting there in folds and excess tissue that diminish angles and structure. This rounds and softens the lower areas of our face, making them appear plumper or fleshier than they naturally would be. Using dermal fillers to lift certain areas like the nose-to-mouth area, we can pull this tissue back into a more flattering position and slim the lower face.

Frequently asked questions
  1. What can I expect from my consultation?

Professor Jeffry Kashuk places high importance on individual and personalised consultation and treatment. At your initial consultation, we will explore in great detail your areas of concern and desired results to form an individual treatment plan. This will help us determine where exactly the source of your skin concern is stemming from and which aesthetic treatment materials are necessary to achieve the best results for you.

  2. How does using dermal filler improve overall facial slimming?

By targeting certain strategic areas with well-placed dermal fillers, we can alter the high points of your face that meet the light first. Using this light dispersion, we can essentially highlight these points, which appears to visibly lift the skin tissue. When restructuring your facial profile, dermal filler also changes the shape of certain areas when adding volume. This rebalances the facial symmetry and composition, a little change making a big difference. Lastly, dermal filler also performs exceptionally well when lifting certain fallen areas, creating deep skin remodelling that firms and draws this sagging tissue upwards.

  3. How long will my results last?

Results vary from patient to patient and depend on the amount of materials required to achieve your optimum results. Typically, you can expect your dermal filler results to last for up to 18 months.

  4. Will my treatments hurt?

You may feel a slight scratch at each injection point, though you should only feel a mild discomfort at most. All of our treatments are carried out by the skilled and qualified hands of Professor Jeffry Kashuk, so they should be efficient with minimal discomfort. For those who experience sensitivity we can provide a topical cooling anaesthetic cream, though we find most of our patients don’t seem to need this.

  5. What is dermal filler?

Dermal fillers are made of a substance that closely replicates hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar in the body. This sugar is an essential component in skin laxity, volume, and structure, making this treatment ideal for tissue sculpting and facial restructuring.
